This is interesting stuff.

I tried to see if there was any more on that ancient book, maybe someone had transcribed it, but I have not been able to find anything.

Lynn sent me an email, as follows:
Hi Geoff!

I have found another documentary that you might like. "The Secret Family of Jesus" by Dr. Robert Beckford. http://robertbeckford.co.uk/

I sent him an e-mail and asked if any of his BBC documentaries were available on DVD. There are also postings of this film on you tube of this movie. So at this time I will view it from there.

He has quite a number of BBC documentaries.

Thank you so much for your link on the old bible found in Palestine. For upon my searching I was able to find the documentary, and many others along with finding this scholar. I never imagined that he had so many documentaries on the Jesus, and the bible.

Enjoy!
Much love,
Lynn

I am assuming, Lynn, that this link is related to the bible in this thread? If so, I am impressed you managed to find something, well done. I will take a look.

love,
Geoff

Is the ancient book you're referring to in the video the one that is pronounced did-ay-key? If so, the book is called The Didache.

Here is some information about it from Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Didache

Links to a number of translations can be found at: http://www.earlychristianwritings.com/didache.html

Dear Garold,

Welcome. Thank you for that, I think you may just be right, because that name sort of seems to float about and sound right. I will follow it up.

Dear Garold,

Those are interesting, but not particularly instructive, except in as much by not commenting on Jesus' death, it would seem they had no concept of the atonement doctrine, at that time. I had hoped the "two ways" might prove more instructive, but it was not.
