Biblical support for the P.Messages and Jesus' teachings :)

Postby Triple Y » Sun Oct 18, 2015 6:58 pm

This is what I wrote today and would like to share it with you all :) (I got the "nudge" from above to write it and felt the need and necessity (inspiration) to do it, as the Father has shown me much from the Bible and how to reconcile it to the P.Messages. Or Vice-versa :D ) Anyway, here goes:

God is Love (1). This is His nature. But God’s Love is different from human love, as people are not created with this Love (2). But God, our Father, offers us the Gift of His Love. So if you desire to get closer to God, to become one with Him and one with Christ (3), you must become one with His spiritual nature of Divine Love, so that It becomes a part of yourself. Then you will become a partaker of the Divine nature (4).
The Love of God will be poured out into your very being through the Holy Spirit (5). If you sincerely seek more of this Love by prayer and faith to God (6), He will give you His great Gift in greater amounts (7), and you will grow in this Love and the Love grows in you – you will be rooted into Love (8). You will become more like Christ. You will take on Christ. And then will happen, what Christ Jesus desired - He would be in you and you would be in Christ, and Father God in you and you in the Father (9).
You can choose to ask and let God’s Love enter your soul and change your soul’s nature through the workings of the Holy Spirit. In this way, His Love flows into you and gives you the ability to love others, to love God and yourself (10). When you Love others and show it with your actions, you are carrying out the 11th commandment (11). And this is how you can feel the peace that passes all understanding (12) and feel heavenly joy and happiness, which is also in Jesus (13).
Keep asking God that He fill you more and more with His Divine Love, and He is will do so (14)! You will after a while feel the effects (15). This is what Jesus meant by coming to drink the Living Water, that gives Life (16). Or to eat the Bread of Life (17). We need to ask for this Bread every day (18), to grow spiritually. And this Bread/Water/Love/Christ in you, coming into you through the Holy Spirit, washing you clean, will eventually give you eternal life and salvation (19). It is a privilege Gift (20), that you now have access to.
When you get more and more of this Love, you will become more and more loving, pure, divine, holy, happy, free, peaceful, joyful, stronger, greater in faith, greater in knowing God. You will become more and more free from sinful nature, as the divine nature takes over, until this Love possesses you to a degree of complete transformation and all of your being is changed by the Love of God in you. This is what is meant by the New Birth, which Jesus taught. This is the way to the Kingdom of God. Maybe you remember the parable: Luke 13:20 “What shall I compare the kingdom of God to? It is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into about sixty pounds of flour until it worked all through the dough.” Or the conversation with Nicodemus: You must become born again in order to enter the Kingdom. All of this is about the inner changes in human’s soul becoming transformed by the Love.

So – are you going to act upon this teaching on how to get this Love, or are you just a listener? As Jesus himself said in Luke 6:46 “So why do you keep calling me lord, when you don’t do what I say? I will show you what it’s like when someone comes to me, listens to my teaching, and then follows it. He is like a person building a house who digs deep and lays the foundation on solid rock. When the floodwaters rise and break against that house, it stands firm because it is well built.”

1 – 1 John 4:16 “And so we know and rely on the Love God has for us. God is Love. Whoever lives in Love lives in God, and God in them.”
2 – John 5:42 “…but I know you. I know that you do not have the Love of God in your hearts.”
3 – John 17:21 “…I pray that all of these people continue to have unity in the way that you, Father, are in me and I am in you.”
4 – 2.Peter 1:4 “…He has given us His precious and magnificent promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature…”
5 – Romans 5:5 “…God's Love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit…”
6 – Acts 13:25 “Meanwhile, the disciples continued to be full of joy and the Holy Spirit.”
7 – Luke 11:9 “And so I tell you: keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you ... So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him."
8 – Ephesians 3:17 “Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God's Love and keep you strong.”
9 – John 17:26 “…that the Love you have for me will be in them and I will be in them."
10 – 10 commandments given through Moses
11 – 11th commandment – John 15:12 “Love each other as I have Loved you. This is what I'm commanding you to do.”
12 – Philippians 4:7 “Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.”
13 – Luke 10:21 “At that time, Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit…”
14 – Ephesians 5:18 “And don't get drunk with wine, which leads to reckless actions, but keep on being filled by the Spirit…”
15 – Galatians 5:22 “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!”
16 – John 4:10 “If you knew the Gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you Living Water… Those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them Eternal Life (immortality).”
17 – John 6:32 “Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. For the Bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”
18 – Matthew 6:11 “Give us today our daily Bread (of Life).” (This is part of the Lord’s Prayer, which the disciples should offer to the Father)
19 – Titus 3:5 “…He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit…” or “He saved us through the washing in which the Holy Spirit gives us new birth and renewal.” / 2.Thessalonians 2:13 “We are always thankful that God chose you to be among the first to experience salvation--a salvation that came through the Spirit who makes you holy and through your belief in the truth.”
20 – Acts 1:4 “On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the Gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.” Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in union with the Messiah Jesus our Lord.”

Dear yyy

That looks excellent. I am overseas and have limited time and am only using an iPad so it's much harder. There is a ground swell to do exactly what you have done here, and I wish I could get Eva to come over here and see what you wrote. I will try to do that on the dlsf board.

To be honest this looks exactly like I would like to have on my new web site.

Hugs and many thanks

Hello Geoff and YYY,

Thank you Geoff for pointing me to YYY's work. I too agree that it is very good.

YYY, I have been thinking along similar lines since coming across the Padgett messages about a year and a half ago, but having a very good Bible foundation built over more than 4 decades. Wherever possible, I am trying to match the Bible with Padgett on my website. Especially relevant pages are ... reflection and the two links at the bottom of the page. My book "Jesus' Gospel of God's Love" downloadable as PDF from that page is trying to do the same thing -- matching Padgett with the Bible.

Love and best wishes to you as you pursue this, because I think it is important to bridge the Padgett messages with the Bible to enable dedicated Bible believers consider the truth of the messages.
