God is Love (1). This is His nature. But God’s Love is different from human love, as people are not created with this Love (2). But God, our Father, offers us the Gift of His Love. So if you desire to get closer to God, to become one with Him and one with Christ (3), you must become one with His spiritual nature of Divine Love, so that It becomes a part of yourself. Then you will become a partaker of the Divine nature (4).
The Love of God will be poured out into your very being through the Holy Spirit (5). If you sincerely seek more of this Love by prayer and faith to God (6), He will give you His great Gift in greater amounts (7), and you will grow in this Love and the Love grows in you – you will be rooted into Love (8). You will become more like Christ. You will take on Christ. And then will happen, what Christ Jesus desired - He would be in you and you would be in Christ, and Father God in you and you in the Father (9).
You can choose to ask and let God’s Love enter your soul and change your soul’s nature through the workings of the Holy Spirit. In this way, His Love flows into you and gives you the ability to love others, to love God and yourself (10). When you Love others and show it with your actions, you are carrying out the 11th commandment (11). And this is how you can feel the peace that passes all understanding (12) and feel heavenly joy and happiness, which is also in Jesus (13).
Keep asking God that He fill you more and more with His Divine Love, and He is will do so (14)! You will after a while feel the effects (15). This is what Jesus meant by coming to drink the Living Water, that gives Life (16). Or to eat the Bread of Life (17). We need to ask for this Bread every day (18), to grow spiritually. And this Bread/Water/Love/Christ in you, coming into you through the Holy Spirit, washing you clean, will eventually give you eternal life and salvation (19). It is a privilege Gift (20), that you now have access to.
When you get more and more of this Love, you will become more and more loving, pure, divine, holy, happy, free, peaceful, joyful, stronger, greater in faith, greater in knowing God. You will become more and more free from sinful nature, as the divine nature takes over, until this Love possesses you to a degree of complete transformation and all of your being is changed by the Love of God in you. This is what is meant by the New Birth, which Jesus taught. This is the way to the Kingdom of God. Maybe you remember the parable: Luke 13:20 “What shall I compare the kingdom of God to? It is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into about sixty pounds of flour until it worked all through the dough.” Or the conversation with Nicodemus: You must become born again in order to enter the Kingdom. All of this is about the inner changes in human’s soul becoming transformed by the Love.
So – are you going to act upon this teaching on how to get this Love, or are you just a listener? As Jesus himself said in Luke 6:46 “So why do you keep calling me lord, when you don’t do what I say? I will show you what it’s like when someone comes to me, listens to my teaching, and then follows it. He is like a person building a house who digs deep and lays the foundation on solid rock. When the floodwaters rise and break against that house, it stands firm because it is well built.”
