Law of Compensation

Page 418. Hard cover version.
Judas is discussing the how Jesus chose his disciples. They were from very different walks of life or classes for want of a better word. Jesus did not care about their back ground and the line that really struck me is
"The Law of Compensation treats us according to what we are, and not according to what we once were."
I have to admit I never understood this part of the law. I thought in all the Padgett messages the Law of Compensation worked for every last farthing. I know the divine love over rides it as Ann Rollins tells us.
Is this what Judas was saying in the paragraph that divine Law will surpass the Law of Compensation or does he mean that even on the Natural path that The Law of Compensation works only on the present soul condition and not past condition / deeds.
Very confusing.

Dear Bill,

Yes it can be a bit confusing. There are two aspects. Following the natural love path, and the Divine love path.

In the natural love path, if a soul manages to change himself - attitudes, values etc, then the Law of Compensation no longer applies. In other words someone who murdered 30 million people could spend less time compensating than someone who nearly murdered someone, but has not bothered to change his values in 50 years in spirit.

Following the Divine Love path means that the divine love acts on the soul, and does a lot of the changing. So its faster. You "get changed".

Hope that helps.

love,
Geoff

Well I have concentrated on the Divine path so much that I have totally missed that aspect of the natural path. I'll have to dig those messages up and read them again
Thanks Geoff.

Hi Bill,
If we understand that in natural love and then with the inclusion of Divine Love progression happens, then, we will be able to see that the Divine Love has Its own particular function to bring about changed conditions and part of this function is the Love's ability to continue to function as the individual begins change and progression.

We can never grow out or beyond the Divine Love because of Its origin. So, therefore the Divine Love is sympathetic and harmonious with every Spirit Law created by God that comes into effect at various stages in ones' progression of changed soul condition.

The Law of Compensation comes into effect in the present yet the present will constitute the experiences of a lived life by that individual. So therefore, the Law of Compensation acts with the present condition of the individual that will include the sum-total of all that individual's experience. This involves memories and past actions that were either lived in disharmony or fear that may have caused an error to the harmonious Spirit Laws that may be unknown to the individual and also these Spirit Laws act in both solely the natural love of soul progression and also when the Divine Love is involved.

If we understand that the Celestial spirits are living harmoniously as the result of the Divine Love, then yes, every farthing of life experience lived that is/was in contradistinction to the various Spirit Laws that maintain harmony and love, is to be accounted for. There is a school of thought that by receiving a drop of Divine Love that the individual negates all their accounting. This is an error to think this. Because the nature of progression involves not only the attribute of soul to commence change, but that as the soul changes, these effects are felt and experienced in the spirit body and the personality of the individual. This means that living with Divine Love includes becoming aware and this awareness unveils any disharmony that is existent or living in the personality either in mortal - human, earthly or spirit experience.

When one is learning about the Divine Love and how It acts upon the soul, we must never loose sight of the fact that the spirit body and personality is directly involved.
Hope this helps,
Much love,
Zara

Thanks Zara, Yes it does help.
I picked up the big book of Padgett messages today and just opened it. Three messages in a row about Judgement. What luck. I didn't even need to look it up in the index.
